i love the meaning of the word 'timshel' too, in hebrew it means 'thou mayest', meaning that man has the choice to overcome sin and evil, or let sin and evil defeat you. but the point is, its your choice.

i like men

i dont know quite what's wrong with me at the moment. i think i may just permenantly be on heat. im checking out like 100 men/boys a day. when i say boys i dont mean small children, but even from like age 16 up. what is wrong with me. i lahooove the male species and appreciate next to all forms of which you all come in. i find myself appreciating the obvious crack addict tramp's bonestructure, a 16 year old school boys olive skin, many a rugged beard, imagining myself hand in hand with the suited businessman in sainsburys, anyone in a checkered shirt. i can find something attractive in ANYONE at the moment. lets hope this is a phase. maybe moving to Bath is what did it to me. you bath men, you're just irresistable.
oh, and i have a BIG thing at the moment about men on bikes, with shorts. well one in particular. mmmm.

i read in a book called 'illustration play' who rob ryan is looking at the moment.

photographer tim walker- i like, very alice in wonderlandy and circus. i like the dresses hanging in trees lit up. beautiful, dream like shoots.

illustrator maira kalman- its allright.

am listening to old old kings of leon stuff, his scratchy voice is all around, attacking my ears and i like it. i like pure gravel voices that almost hurt to listen to but still sound beautiful at the same time. spices up the listening a bit.

getting started

ok. the reason why im starting this is to make sure i kind of keep one step in the art world over summer. otherwise, my heads going to stray and get lost, come september, we're back at square one again. so here we go. dont know if anyone will look at this, but that doesnt matter. is to keep my mind on it, something to focus on and doesnt take up too much time. here goes yeah.
